Still Life of Past Life

Past Life Studio founders - Marissa Cummings & Anthony Petrie - are two artists with a unique take on contemporary American Folk Art. Their passion for collecting strange antiquities led them to create vibrant still life paintings based on the objects they acquire from estates all over the world. Their desire is to re-inject life into the discarded possessions of passed away peoples. Each object and painting has a story that can be expressed and preserved - long after the original owners have gone.
